Annette Marie (Brecke) Jiran of New Town, North Dakota, formerly of Hazel Run, Minnesota, passed away Tuesday, July 27, 1982, in Minot, North Dakota, at the age of 41. Annette was born July 22, 1941, in Hazel Run, Minnesota, to Lewis and Francis (Larson) Brecke. She attended and graduated from Clarkfield High School in 1959. She then graduated from Fairview Hospital School of Nursing in 1962, as a Registered Nurse. She was employed by North Memorial Hospital in Robinsdale, Minnesota. She was married to Rev. William Jiran in November of 1966 at Hazel Run Lutheran Church. They moved to Hettinger, North Dakota, in 1967 where her husband was Assistant Pastor at Hettinger Lutheran Church. In 1977 they moved to New Town, North Dakota as pastor of the Bethel Lutheran Church. Annette is survived by her husband, Rev. William Jiran, two sons, Brent and Aaron, and one daughter Mara all of New Town, North Dakota; and also one brother, Jerry Brecke of Excelsior, Minnesota. She is preceded in death by her Father and Mother.
