Anna was born on September 30, 1901, on the farm in Omro Township to Benny and Ottilie Bittler Wiegers. She was baptized October 20, 1901, by Rev. E. G. Fritz and confirmed April 16, 1916, by Rev. Wm F. Pankow at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Omro Township. Helmer Hveem and Anna were married March 10, 1926, by Pastor C. G. Schmidt at St. John's. Anna attended parochial school at St. John's and sang in the church choir. She took sewing and piano lessons and enjoyed both. Anna was a kind hearted person and rarely complained. She will be missed by family and friends. Anna made many different crafts; she made many quilts for her church and a few for herself. She enjoyed her garden and did alot of canning. Anna passed away at the age of 90 years on Monday, April 6, 1992, in the Clarkfield Care Center. Surviving Anna are her sisters and brothers, Lilly Lindblad and her husband Roy of Dawson, Minnesota, Emily Riediger of Clarkfield, Minnesota, Adolph and his wife Edna of El Sequndo, California, Karl and his wife Delia of Richfield, Minnesota, and Arnold and his wife Ruby of Dawson; brother-in-law, Carl Witt of New Ulm, Minnesota; also numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death was her husband, Helmer on May 12, 1984; parents; two sisters, Emma Weise and Elsa Witt; and two brothers, Bennie and William.
