Anna Christine Hansen was born January 6, 1892, in Westerheim Township, Lyon County, Minnesota, to parents Ole and Julia (Thompson) Thon. Anna and husband Hans C. Hansen resided in the family homestead since the early twenties until 1962 when they moved to Clarkfield. She continued to live in Clarkfield after her husband's death in 1968. She passed away at the Community Memorial Hospital, Clarkfield, Minnesota, on September 2, 1976, at the age of 84. Mrs. Hansen is survived by her sisters: Sarah Korst and Agnes Horvereid of Minneapolis, Dena Speer, Cora Sparks and Bessie Cliffgard of Long Beach, California; nephews Charles E. Bates of Litchfield; Wells and Donald Horvereid of Minneapolis and William Korst of Edina; nieces Marilyn Kilgren of Richfield, Delores Goertgen of Roseville, Beverly Alldoy of Los Angeles, California, Carol Smith of Huntington Beach, California. She was preceded in death by her husband, a son Herbert Clinton, as well as her mother and father, one brother, Knute Thon, and one sister, Mabel Erickson. IN MEMORY OF MRS. ANNA C.
