Anna Wiegers was born on October 25, 1911, to Nikolaus Munsch and Pauline (Klein) Munsch in Posen Township, Wood Lake, Minnesota. She became a child of God through Baptism on November 27, 1911, by Pastor Phil Laux of St. Lucas Lutheran Church, Posen Township. Anna was confirmed in the teachings of the Christian faith on March 28, 1926, by Pastor J. Brauer, at St. Lucas Lutheran Church, Posen Township. On November 12, 1933, Anna became the wife of Elmer Wiegers. They were married at St. John's Lutheran Church, Wood Lake, Minnesota, by Pastor C. G. Schmidt. God blessed their marriage with one son, David. The Wiegers farmed in Omro Township of Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota. Anna was a homemaker and also enjoyed gardening. Anna was preceded in death by her husband Elmer in 1998; by her sisters: Amelia Schmidt, Mathilda Jeseritz, Sophie Behrmann, and Lillian Rolf; and by her brothers: Walter Munsch and Victor Munsch. On Wednesday, October 15, 2003, our Lord summoned Anna out of this life to the joy of heaven at the age of 91 years. Among those who mourn her departure are her son, David Wiegers; her brother, Ervin Munsch with his wife Alice; and her sister-in-law Evelyn Munsch; with other relatives and friends.
