Anna Olina Eye, 84, passed away on Friday, December 2, 1989, at the Clarkfield Care Center, Clarkfield, Minnesota. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 5, 1989, at Israel Lutheran Church, Swede Prairie Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota, with Pastor Gary Kubly officiating. Organist was Pastor L. Hunter Fennell and soloist Ross Riecke. Pallbearers were Elden Appelwick, Ardell Benson, Dale Berg, Duane Severson, Merlyn Wallen and Eugene Werner. Her final resting place is the Israel Lutheran Cemetery in Swede Prairie Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota. Anna Olina Eye was born at Sioux Agency Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota, on December 27, 1904, the daughter of Bert A. and Bia (Slettedahl) Eye. She was baptized at the Rock Valley Lutheran Church near Echo, Minnesota, in 1904 and confirmed at Israel Lutheran Church. Anna attended country school and worked as a housekeeper. Surviving Anna are two sisters, Olga and Laura of Clarkfield and brother, Bennie Eye and wife of Clarion, lowa. Anna was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Alfred, Orvin and Lewis Eye.
