Annie K. Jurgenson, wife of the late Martin G. Jurgenson, passed away Wednesday morning, June 15, 1977, at the Clarkfield Community Hospital after a lengthy illness. She had been a resident of the Clarkfield Care Center for the past year and a half and had been transferred to the hospital Monday afternoon. She was born in Clarkfield, October 1, 1892, to H. R. and Maline (Vik) Hanson and had attended schools in Clarkfield. Annie and Martin were married December 3, 1916, in Clarkfield and had spent most all their adult lives in this community. Martin preceded her in death in 1970. Both Annie and Martin were active in Church and community affairs during their lives. Survivors include: Marion (Mrs. Don Hanson) of Stillwater, Robert of Eugene, Oregon, Harris of Dallas, Oregon, Kathryn, (Mrs. Eugene Engelstad) Des Plaines, Illinois, and Marlene, (Mrs. Elmo Sandvig) Clarkfield; sixteen grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one brother, Kenneth Hanson of Clarkfield; and one sister, Rachel (Mrs. Ray Friberg) of Eugene, Oregon. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, three brothers, and one son-in-law. All of Mrs. Jurgenson's children were here to attend the funeral services which were held Friday morning, June 17, 1977, at the Clarkfield Lutheran Church. Blessed be her memory! IN MEMORY OF MRS.
