Andrew Thostenson was born December 3, 1879, in Sandnes Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota, the son of Thosten and Margit (Bestland) Thostenson. Andrew was united in marriage to Julia Wilson on December 19, 1905. They were the parents of Tebert, Sarah, Marvin, Sadie, Edward, Esther and Mavis. Andrew died Monday, August 25, 1952, in Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota, at the age of 72 years. Survivors include his wife, Julia; children: Marvin, Esther (Mrs. Wallace Larson) and Mavis (Mrs. Lyman Ellingson).
