Andrew Norman Thorhaug, son of Ole and Karine (Anderson) Thorhaug, was born August 23, 1897, in Friendship Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota. He was baptized at Spring Creek Lutheran Church by Rev. J.S. Strand on October 11, 1897, and confirmed by Rev. O.T. Storaasli on September 15, 1912. He farmed at Clarkfield until about 20 years ago, when he moved to Minneapolis where he was employed. He continued his residence in Minneapolis during his retirement. Andrew's health began to fail during the past few years and he passed away during the forenoon of Sunday, December 10, 1961, at Deaconess Hospital in Minneapolis following a pneumonia illness at the age of 64 years. Andrew was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Oliver and Carl Genard. He is survived by his two sisters, Mrs. Alfred Jacobson and Mrs. Amundson. IN MEMORY OF ANDREW N.
