Andrew E. Omley was born March 16, 1873, at Hanley Falls, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota, the son of Evend T. Omley and Valborg E. (Gullickson) Omley. He passed away October 18, 1957, at his Hanley Falls home, at the age of 84 years. Survivors include his wife, Bessie (Upsahl) Omley; children: Obert, Raymond, Erwin, Alvina (Mrs. C.J. Portlance), Idell (Mrs. J.F. Kinney), Amanda (Mrs. W.P. Portlance) all of Minneapolis, and George of Hanley Falls; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
