Alvin Olia Olson was born January 2, 1893, in Fillmore County, Minnesota, the son of Aanon and Emma (Sampson) Olson. He died December 28, 1951, in Willmar, Minnesota, at the age of 58 years. Survivors include his wife, Caroline (Nelson) Olson and a daughter, Adeline.
