Allen David Anderson June 30, 1940 ~ December 1, 2015 Allen David Anderson was born June 30, 1940, at Clarkfield, Minnesota, the son of Elmer and Anna (Anderson) Anderson. He was baptized in Clarkfield and confirmed in Hanley Falls. He moved with his family to the Hanley Falls area where he graduated from Hanley Falls High School in 1958. Allen was united in marriage with Delores "Dee" Gallus December 28, 1963, at Delano, Minnesota. They made their home at Hanley Falls where he ran Al's Standard Station from 1962-1969. He started as the maintenance worker for the City of Hanley Falls in 1969 and retired in 1999. After retiring, he worked part time for Paul's Welding and part time at the Hanley Falls elevator. He was a member of the Hanley Falls Fire Department and the Museum Board. Allen enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing cards and relaxing at the lake home. He died Tuesday, December 1, 2015, at his home in Hanley Falls at the age of 75. He is survived by his wife Dee; two children: Lori (Tim) Clarine of Brainerd, Minnesota, and Lee (fiancé Jamie Golden) Anderson of Granite Falls, Minnesota; four grandchildren: Ashley (Lance) Vargo, Tony (Tayja) Mackedanz, Brad (Giina) Clarine, Angie (Chris) Kapella; five great grandchildren: Westin, Avery, Beckett, Peyton, and Kolby; three brothers: Robert (Sharon) Anderson of Hammond, Indiana, Donald (Loyann) of Delano, Minnesota, and Douglas (Barb) of Portland, Oregon; and numerous nieces and nephews. Allen was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Anna Anderson.
