Alice Herrick, 85, died Tuesday, October 31, 1995 at the Delta County Memorial Hospital, Delta, Colorado. Services were held Monday, November 6, 1995 at Spring Creek Lutheran Church in Normania Township with Pastor Valeri Tchijik officiating. Organist was Amy Martinson. Casket bearers were Kenneth, LeRoy and Stanley Jacobson, Wayne Peterson, Curtis Sannerud and Clayton Stevens. Interment was in the church cemetery. Alice Bernice Herrick was born March 30, 1910 at Clarkfield to Alfred and Annie (Thorhaug) Jacobson. She graduated from Mankato State University and was a teacher. She worked in Los Angeles, CA; Seattle, CA, and Starbuck prior to her move to Delta, Colorado in 1984. She was a resident of the Delta Care Center. She was a past member of Spring Creek Lutheran Church and MEA and PTA. She is survived by daughter Carmen Herrick of Grand Junction, Colorado, and brothers Milton Jacobson of Willmar and Wesley Jacobson of Chicago, Illinois and son-in-law Lee Martinson of Delta, Colorado; and six grandchildren.
