Alfred J. West was born September 7, 1903, in Minnesota to parents Peter and Selma (Olson) West. Alfred and Aletta Marie Payne were married on June 29, 1946, at Clarkfield Lutheran Church. They were blessed with two daughters: Julianna Marie and Marlene Alvina. Alfred and Aletta lived at their farm homes around Clarkfield and were members of both Spring Creek Lutheran Church and Clarkfield Lutheran Church. He was preceded in death by his young daughter Marlene. Alfred is survived by his wife, Aletta, daughter Juli and son-in-law Thomas Gardebring. IN MEMORY OF ALFRED J.
