IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Alfred Bernard
Trandahl
August 18, 1910 – March 21, 1993
Alfred Bernard Trandahl was born on August 18, 1910, in Yellow Medicine County to Andrew and Anna (Akre) Trandahl. He attended country school. On December 21, 1932, Alfred was united in marriage to Ora Soppeland. After their marriage they farmed in Yellow Medicine County, where he lived until his health required a move to a Health Care facility. Alfred passed away March 21, 1993, at the Clarkfield Care Center at the age of 82. Alfred enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping and talking about farming and politics with the neighbors. He loved being outdoors, enjoying all that God has given us, the animals and nature. He was a great storyteller and had a lot of good stories to tell, which many of us have heard and benefited from over the years. Most of all Alfred loved his family and friends. He cherished every shared moment spent. Alfred loved Ora and missed her greatly. He did know he would see her when he left this world and was looking forward to that reunion with her and his loved ones that went before him. Alfred knew Jesus and that Jesus had prepared a mansion for him. He was comfortable leaving the farm his last days because he was looking forward to his new home. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Ora. Also, sister Emma Johnson and brothers, John and Theodore.
