Alfred Andrew Hilden was born July 30, 1897, at Montevideo, Minnesota, to Andrew and Anna (Kolken) Hilden. He went home to be with our Lord on June 18, 1982. Alfred was baptized and confirmed at the Watson Lutheran Church. He attended rural school, then continued his schooling by attending Agricultural School at the University of Minnesota. Alfred married Elsie Lynne on September 18, 1947. They farmed in the Montevideo area and later retired in Clarkfield, Minnesota. Alfred was the last living member of his immediate family. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, two brothers and six sisters. He is survived by his nieces and nephews; his wife, Elsie; two sons, Merle and John; sixteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Blessed be his memory! IN MEMORY OF ALFRED A.
