Albin John Fremo was born March 9, 1909, at Camp Release Township to Jens and Annette (Kaupang) Fremo. He was baptized by Pastor Eid and confirmed by Pastor Martin Lien. On June 24, 1933, he was united in marriage to Lillian Philipson at Madison, Minnesota, by Pastor Lars Onderheim. Three sons were born to this union and one daughter who passed away at birth. He was a lifelong farmer in the Boyd area. Albin passed away at his home from a sudden heart attack Thanksgiving Day evening, November 23, 1972, at the age of 63 years. He is survived by his wife, Lillian; three sons: Gerald of Boyd, Roger and David of Moorhead, Minnesota; six grandchildren; one brother, Rudy of Appleton, Minnesota; two sisters: Palma (Mrs. Jennings Agre) of Boyd, and Elva (Mrs. Maurice Norman) of Milan, Minnesota; and other relatives and friends.
