Albert Spencer Swanson passed away April 13, 1976, in Detroit, Michigan, at the age of 64 years. He was born to Andrew John and Mathea (Olson) Swanson on November 19, 1911, in Swede Prairie Township of Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota. He was baptized at Swede Home Lutheran Church and confirmed at Norwegian Lutheran Church in Minneota. He served four years in the United States Air Force during World War II. He has made his home in Detroit since 1930, and was employed by Dodge Motors until he retired. He is survived by two sisters: Annie Doose of Clarkfield, and Selma Hanson of Montevideo; one brother, Roy of Escondido, California.
