Albert B. Nelson, son of Bengt and Anna (Nelson) Nelson was born March 27, 1900. He was baptized into the Christian faith on May 6, 1900, and confirmed in the Swede Home Lutheran Church on July 8, 1917. Albert farmed in Swede Prairie Township and worked as a handyman doing odd jobs in the area. He retired in 1963 and moved into Clarkfield, living with his sisters, Emily and Hilda Nelson. He was married to Elsa Pipke March 27, 1972, and just recently moved into a new home built in Clarkfield. Albert suffered with a heart condition for a number of years. He was taken to the Clarkfield Hospital where he died suddenly on Wednesday, October 4, 1972. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Elsa, and three sisters: Emily and Hilda of Clarkfield, and Mrs. William Larson of Minneota, Minnesota.
