Albert Mau, 91, died Sunday, February 27, 1994 at the Minneota Manor in Minneota. Services were held at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, March 3, at J. H. Lynner Funeral Home in Clarkfield with Pastor Larry Olson officiating. Organist was Kathy Jahn and soloist, Loren Norgaard. Casket bearers were Burdell Johnson, Douglas Schulte, Robert Schulte, Waldemar Johnson, Richard Schulte and Wayne Schulte. Interment will be in the West Yellow Medicine Lutheran Cemetery, Hanley Falls. Albert Fredrick Mau was born on May 30, 1902 to parents Albert and Anna (Krueger) Mau. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. Albert grew up in the Milroy area until 1934 when he moved to Hazel Run. Albert married Emma Gautefal in November 1937. He and Emma were engaged in farming. Emma died in 1972. Albert entered the Minneota Manor in 1985 and was a resident there until his death. He is survived by his brother, John and wife Pearl of Hazel Run; nephew, John Mau and wife Shirley of Prior Lake; niece Joan and husband LeRoy Winge of Montevideo; grand nephew, Todd Winge of El Paso, Texas; and three grand nieces, Kelly and husband Greg Hastings of Minneapolis, Kris Winge of Denver, Colorado and Tiffany and her husband Russell Pierskalla of Dallas, Texas.
