Albert Johann Golnick of the Dawson Nursing Home, Dawson, Minnesota, and until one and one-half year ago, a resident of the Omro Township farming community, passed away at the Dawson Hospital on June 28, 1975, at the age of 83 years. Albert was born to Micheal and Amelia (Abraham) Golnick in Omro Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota, on March 26, 1892, and baptized May 15, 1892, at St. John's Lutheran Church by Pastor J. Frey. He was confirmed into the Lutheran faith in 1907 by Pastor E.G. Fritz. Albert was a lifelong resident of Minnesota where he was a farmer until his retirement. He leaves to mourn his departure one sister, Mrs. Amelia Roske of Luther Haven in Montevideo, Minnesota, and one half sister, Miss Pauline Golnick of Canby, Minnesota; four nieces and two nephews and other relatives and friends.
