Albert Christensen, 89, of Montevideo, Minnesota, and formerly of Hazel Run, Minnesota, died Saturday, March 23, 1985, at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar, Minnesota. He was born September 5, 1895, in Swede Prairie Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota, the son of Christian Christensen and Signe (Kompelien) Christensen. Services were held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 26, 1985, at the Clarkfield Lutheran Church, Clarkfield, Minnesota, with Pastor Ted Kunze officiating. At the service the organ music was by Mrs. Karen Donner with a vocal solo by Loren Norgaard and cello solo by David Christensen. Casket Bearers were Allan, John and Stanley Christensen and Randall, Reed and Ross Schrankler. Honorary Casket Bearers were Peder Bakken, Oren Christensen, John Gunlogson and Ishmael Quam.
