Agnes Hildagard (Seagrin) Allchin, 88, died Saturday, April 12, 1986, at the Clarkfield Care Center, Clarkfield, Minnesota. Services were held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 15, 1986, in the Yellow Medicine Lutheran Church at Hanley Falls, Minnesota, with Pastor Schey officiating. The organist was Mrs. Mavis Gustafson with Mrs. Mavis Ellingson the soloist. Casket Bearers were her grandchildren, Kay Bestland, Alan Martin, Arlen Martin, Susan Preus, Bonnie Kruger, Cathy Eisenlohr, Teri Wicthlacz and Philip Stevens. Final Resting Place is the East Yellow Medicine Lutheran Cemetery, Hanley Falls, Minnesota. She was born June 17, 1897, in Salix, Iowa, the daughter of John Seagren and Hannah (Peterson) Seagren. She was married to Walter Allchin in 1914 in Salix, Iowa, and made her home around the Hanley Falls community since 1916. She moved to the care center in 1970. She was baptized and confirmed at the Yellow Medicine Lutheran Church where she was still a member. She is survived by son, Archie of Granite Falls, Minnesota; daughters, Hazel (Mrs. Myron) Martin of Hanley Falls and Helen Stevens of Red Wing, Minnesota; eight grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren and sister, Esther McKenna of Salix, Iowa.
