On February 16, 1930, Agnes married Rudolph Warner at St. John's Lutheran and started farming in the area. They moved to a farm near Boyd and continued to farm in the area until their retirement in 1971. After retiring, they bought a house in Granite Falls. While on the farm, Agnes helped with milking of the cows, feeding of the livestock, and maintained large vegetable and flower gardens. She loved to bake, especially bread, pies, and a variety of cookies, and canning fruit and vegetables for her family and company. Agnes and Rudy spent many winters in the warmer climates of Arizona, California, Florida, and Texas. During these travels they enjoyed meeting people from throughout the U.S. and Canada. While living in the Boyd area, Agnes and Rudy were members of Redeemer Lutheran Church of Boyd, where she was active in church work. They became members of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran when they moved to Granite Falls. Over the years, she taught Sunday School, actively gathered clothing, contributed time and sewn articles for various world missions through the Ladies Aid.
