Agnes Peterson Anderson was born to Ole and Stena (Hawkinson) Peterson on July 29, 1902, in Boyd, Minnesota, where she was baptized and confirmed in St. John's Lutheran Church. She was united in marriage to Arnold Anderson on August 17, 1920. To this union six sons and eight daughters were born. One son died in infancy. Arnold and Agnes farmed in the Boyd area, moving to Boyd in 1958. Agnes moved to Montevideo, Minnesota, in July of 1975 and has been living at Parkview Towers. She passed away on Friday, October 24, 1975, at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar, Minnesota, at the age of 73 years. Survivors include her 13 children: Allen of San Diego, California, Alton of Annandale, Minnesota, Margaret Anderson of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Doris Patzwald of Ocala, Florida, Ruth Cornelius of San Diego, California, June Knudsen of Annandale, Minnesota, James of St. Paul, Minnesota, Donna Buseman of Montevideo, Minnesota, Marlys Neiderer of Blaine, Minnesota, Kenneth of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Carol of Annandale, Minnesota, Janice of Montevideo, Minnesota, and Lynn of Elk River, Minnesota. She is also survived by 43 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, four brothers and two sisters. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1969, one son and a brother. IN MEMORY OF AGNES B.
