Agnes J. Flattum was born April 8, 1908 at Holmquist, South Dakota to parents Carl and Olena (Olson) Jordanger. She was baptized and later confirmed at the Tabor Lutheran Church, Roselyn, South Dakota. Agnes married Bert O. Flattum on October 10, 1938 at the home of Olena Jordanger, Webster, South Dakota. To this union two sons were born: LeRoy and Leo. She was a member of the Butler Lutheran Church. For the past 18 years, Agnes has made Clarkfield, Minnesota her home. She first resided at Valhalla Apartments and in her later years was a resident of the Clarkfield Care Center. Agnes passed away on Wednesday afternoon, January 17, 1996 at the Chippewa County Montevideo Hospital at the age of 87 years, 9 months, and 10 days. She is survived by sons: LeRoy and wife Mavis Flattum of Huron, South Dakota and Leo and wife Marcia Flattum of Clarkfield, Minnesota. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 23 great
