Agnes Evelyn Friberg was born February 18, 1908 in Clarkfield, Minnesota to parents Theodore and Jenny (Benson) Friberg. She was baptized and later confirmed at Augustana Lutheran Church. Anges was active in her church. She enjoyed Senior Citizens, the Valhalla Serving Club, and also being a volunteer worker. She also enjoyed quilting, crocheting, knitting, and embroidery and fancy work and baking. Her favorite pastime was letter writing. Agnes lived at the Valhalla Apartments for several years and now has been living in Willmar to be near her sister, Ruth. Agnes passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 1994, at Bethesda Heritage Home in Willmar at the age of 86 years. She is survived by sisters: Alice Jacobson (husband Jim), Theodora Ree, and Ruth Sturgeon (husband Johnie); also brother-in-law, Ralph Lee and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Jenny, and brothers and sisters: Walter, Josie, Herbert, Herman, and Ethel. Blessed be her memory.
