Addie E. Wilson was born December 9, 1894, at Hazel Run, Minnesota, the daughter of Gullick and Nelia (Halvorson) Wilson. She was baptized by Rev. Salhus. Addie lived in the Hazel Run community until in 1948, she moved to Clarkfield, Minnesota. Due to ill health, she was unable to care for herself any longer and in August, 1951, entered the Marshall Convalescent Home, Marshall, Minnesota. Addie died Tuesday afternoon, October 8, 1957, at the Marshall Hospital after a lingering illness of which she suffered most of her life. Miss Wilson is survived by three brothers: Chester of Granite Falls, Minnesota, Melvin and Earl of Hazel Run, Minnesota; two nieces, one nephew and two grand nieces and many friends. She was preceded in death by her mother in 1924 and her father in 1947. God saw that she was suffering, And the hills were hard to climb. He gently closed her weary eyes, And whispered: "Peace be thine". Her weary hours, her days of pain Her weary nights are past; Her ever patient, worn out frame Has found sweet rest at last.
