Ada L. Wangsness was born October 1, 1891, in Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota, to parents Ambrose and Bella (Olson) Olson. She was baptized in Yellow Medicine Lutheran Church of Hanley Falls, Minnesota, and confirmed at Silo Lutheran Church of Cottonwood, Minnesota. On November 2, 1912, she was united in marriage to Evan Wangsness. They lived in Underwood, Minnesota, until her husband died in 1960, when she moved in with her daughter, Mrs. Jerule Kise. Part of this time she lived with her granddaughter, Mrs. Orris Herness. Ada entered the Minneota Manor, Minneota, Minnesota, in July 1976 where she lived until her death. She passed away on Sunday, October 12, 1980, at the Minneota Manor, at the age of 89 years. She is survived by one daughter, Edith (Mrs. Jerule Kise) of Brainerd, Minnesota; one sister, Miss Inez Olson of Cottonwood; four grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, her parents, two brothers and two sisters. IN MEMORY OF MRS.
