Delores A. (Isaacs) Zethraus

Delores (Isaacs) Zethraus was born on June 3, 1917 in Yellow Medicine County, MN. to Alvin and Esther (Thompson) Isaacs. She was baptized and confirmed at the Hazel Run Lutheran Church. She attended school in Hazel Run and Clarkfield where she graduated from high school on June 25, 1939.

Delores was united in marriage to William Zethraus at Hazel Run Lutheran Church. They resided in Montevideo and later moved to Minneapolis. In 1959 they moved to California in the Los Angeles area where they lived until they retired and moved to Palm Desert, California. In the fall of 1997 they moved to Chicago to be near their daughter.

Surviving to mourn her death is her husband William; son William (Bill) and wife Barbara of Victorville, CA.; daughter Pamela Trankina of Western Springs, IL., Six Grandchildren, Nine Great Grandchildren, Sisters Althea Zethraus of Palm Desert CA., Andrea Lindstrom and husband Ron of Auburn CA., a step sister Dorthy Blaness and husband Olaf of Minneapolis, MN, and brothers Lyle Isaacs and wife Gail of Covina CA., Alton Isaacs and wife Rudell of Clarkfield, MN, and numerous other relatives and friends in this area.

Preceding her in death are her parents, infant daughter Katheryn and brother-in-law Stanley Zethraus.

Delores died March 3, 1998 in LaGrange, Illinois at the age of 80 years.

Delores was a fellow member of the Body of Christ. She was a child of our Heavenly Father. She was a worker with us in the Kingdom of God. As we say farewell, we remember that it was St. Paul who wrote: "We believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will take back with Jesus those who have died believing in Him."
