Clark Field

Clark Field, of Clarkfield, died on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at St. Cloud Hospital at the age of 80.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 19, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Clarkfield Lutheran Church in Clarkfield.  Pastor Doug Clevenger will officiate.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church on Friday.

Clark Beach Field was born September 30, 1938 to William Clark Field and Rose Charlette (Libke) Field.  He was baptized on November 20, 1938.  Clark was united in marriage to Roberta Anderson on September 3, 1955 in Elbow Lake, MN.  Together they had four children.

Clark and Roberta moved to Clarkfield in 1965 where Clark purchased the local grocery store.  He had a love for the city of Clarkfield, and always pushed for the small community and its businesses.  Clark was a jack of all trades, from carpenter work to plumbing he could do it all.  He loved his family very much and will be missed by them all.

Clark is survived by his wife, Roberta; children, Carey Field, of Montevideo, Connie (Duane) Tongen, of Clarkfield, Corey (Laura) Field, of Clarkfield, and Candace Lewis, of Andover; grandchildren, Jeremy, Ryan, Justin, and Amy Tongen, Jered, Jason, Casey, Michelle, and Morgan Field, Cassady and Christina Lewis, Alicia Sidd, Katie Kaatz, and Becca Gulden; and great-grandchildren, Ivy and Briggs Field, Addyson Gulden, Adrian and Avalyn Sidd, Jennessa Tongen, Kaden, Kaylee, and Karter Kaatz, and one great-grandchild on the way.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Mike; and a sister in infancy.
