Laura Solorio

Laura Solorio of Hazel Run died on Friday, July 14, 2017 at United Hospital in Minneapolis at the age of 65.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at Hazel Run Lutheran Church with Rev. Cody Mills officiating.  Burial will be in the Hazel Run Cemetery.  A Velorios will be held at Hazel Run Lutheran Church on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 beginning at 9:00 PM until the time of the service at the church on Wednesday.

Laura (Morin Rivera) Solorio was born in Los Fresnos, Texas on August 19, 1951 to Isodoro Morin and Anastasia Rivera Morin.  She lived in Texas with her family and was confirmed in her faith at Iglesia de Guadalupe in December 1999.  She attended school and graduated from Lucia Mar Unified School District.  

Laura married Antonio Solorio in Plainview, Texas on December 31, 1999.  The family lived in Texas, California and Minnesota.  Laura treasured spending time and visiting with her children and grandchildren.  She enjoyed going to garage sales, working word searches and watching Telenovelas.

Laura is survived by her husband, Antonio; her children: Noe Solorio, Naul Solorio, Lucila Solorio, Vanessa Solorio, Otoniel Solorio, Alvino Solorio, Juan Solorio,  Elizabeth Estrada and Luis Estrada; over 15 grandchildren; siblings: Enrique Morin, Isidoro Morin Jr., Julian Morin, Robert Morin, Genorveva  Zepada Guadalupe Morin, Margaret Curiel, Amanda Morin Lara, and Maria Elena Muniz; as well as other relatives and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Isidoro and Anastasia and son, Jose Solorio.
