Esther Mathilda Youngmark

Esther Mathilda Youngmark was born at Carver, Minnesota, on May 11, 1883, of the parents Andrew G. and Anna S. (Olander) Youngmark.

She was baptized at the East Union Church. In 1892, she moved with her parents to Swede Prairie Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota, where she was confirmed by Pastor B.F. Bengtson at the Swede Home Church in 1897.

Her early years were spent in the Swede Prairie and Tyro Townships until the family moved to Clarkfield, Minnesota.

The past 35 years she has resided in Minneapolis where she was employed until her health failed. The past two months, she was a resident of the LaSalle Convalescent Home where she passed away on Thursday, January 26, 1967, at the age of 83 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers: Adin, Ansgar and Levi; and three sisters: Ellen (Mrs. C.A. Olson), Hulda (Mrs. Alfred Hulteen) and Edith (Mrs. R.H. McGilvra).

She is survived by three sisters: Amy (Mrs. Emil Skaug) of Clarkfield, Hannah (Mrs. E.A. Quale) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Lillie (Mrs. S.E. Hagan) of Kenosha, Wisconsin.
